International Training Course 2007


The Second International Training Course 2007 was held as a certified UNESCO Chair Program from 5 to 17 November in Kyoto, Japan. From 2007, we decided on nine criteria for the selection of participants in the training course based on discussions with ICCROM. We placed emphasis on candidates who can formulate disaster risk management plan for cultural heritage from the point of view of conservation as well as risk management. During this course, eight participants were invited from four countries: Bangladesh, China, Peru and the Philippines.
